Aggressive Driver Caught on N3 Highway
What Happened?
Early Saturday morning, around 4 a.m., a driver in a Golf 7 GTI sped the wrong way on the northbound lane of the N3 highway between the Bisley and Ntaba Ridge exits near Pietermaritzburg. The vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic, putting other road users at serious risk.
Police Intervention
Road Traffic Inspectorate (RTI) officers spotted the dangerous maneuver and moved in to stop the car. Despite the driver’s aggressive behavior, the officers—including a female officer previously praised for bravery in a similar incident—managed to halt the vehicle and make an arrest.
