Naomi Gaynor Bernes, a 62‑year‑old woman, was reported missing in the United Kingdom on May 12, 2026. She had planned to fly back to the UK from Cape Town.

On April 20, 2026 Naomi checked in at Cape Town International Airport for a flight to the United Kingdom. She never boarded the plane and has not been seen since. UK authorities tried to contact her but received no response.
